For seminaries & Bible schools 中文
A practical module taught by a missionary trainer: the 10 Disciple Class tools, the 6 leadership tools of the Disciple-Maker course, and real field practice. Your students leave with tools they can use in their first month of ministry.

01How we serve
Your students are preparing to serve and lead churches. This module adds hands-on disciple-making practice to their studies: simple tools they can use in class and pass on in their first ministry.
Students do every tool, lead each other, and go out into a real community, alongside your faculty and your curriculum.
If a fifteen-year-old cannot pass it on, I will not teach it.The test every tool must pass
02Formats
Choose the format that fits your timetable. Every format ends with one obedience step and a plan.

How a module builds
03What students learn
Taught from two handbooks by Pastor Jony Leong. Every lesson ends with one obedience step.
Handbooks in print or PDF, arranged with you. The 2-day intensive covers the foundations; the 5-day module covers both.
04What your school gets

05Fruit from the field
In September 2026, two leaders we trained led a Zúme training in Sumatra on their own. Ten more were trained by local leaders. Stories below are from our mission reports, first names only.
Gopeng, Perak: a village training
Not seminary graduates. Ordinary believers who learned simple tools, used them and passed them on.
Siha, Era and Siti
Kampung Kuala Sengka, JohorThree Jakun Orang Asli women. Most of their village cannot read, so we trained them with audio Bibles and simple stories. They committed to lead their own 3/3 groups. Seven months later the seed was still growing.
No literacy needed. Just a story, a speaker, and obedience.
Zack
George Town to ChinaHe finished every session with our George Town cohort, then went home to China. Within weeks he had started two new disciple groups using the Zúme System.
One Penang group. Two groups in China.
Pastor Kassim
Ulu Kampar, PerakHe came to one Zúme Training class. He went home and made it his church's Wednesday-night discipleship curriculum. New leaders are rising in his congregation of thirty.
One pastor. One church. A new culture of discipleship.
06Your trainer
In 2000 I ran my own IT business in Johor Bahru, training my team to hit targets. In 2019, at a church in Seoul, I surrendered my whole life to Jesus.
Back in Penang I began training ordinary believers to make disciples, and I have not stopped. In 2024 my wife Soojin and I were commissioned as missionaries. I founded Mission Disciple School, which now trains believers every week in four languages online and in person across Malaysia and Indonesia.
I come as a partner to your leaders, not a replacement. My goal is to work myself out of a job: model, assist, watch, leave.
07For deans and faculty
Yes. I can send the outline, contact hours, reading and the student plan template, so your academic office can place the module in your timetable.
It works best with 10 to 40. Larger groups need a second facilitator.
English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.
By enquiry, including travel and stay for in-person modules. Schools with small budgets should still ask.
A Bible, a notebook and a phone for My Walk. Handbooks are arranged with you.
The weekly Disciple Class is online already. A full module works best in person, because students practise on each other and in the field.
One next step
Send one WhatsApp message with your school, number of students, language and possible dates. I reply personally, usually within a day.
